I have a love/hate relationship with technology. I love it when it works, and I hate it when it doesn’t. Yesterday was a big “hate” day. Now don’t get me wrong, I am not a novice with technology. I’ve learned a lot of things in the last few years. It seems one program I use for podcasts is giving me a fit. For one thing it’s out of the UK, and they don’t speak American. We may be having trouble with the translation of computer language.
I’ve used a PC until two years ago when I bought a Mac. I love my Mac. It has the security I need, and it’s not that hard to learn to use. I’ve pretty much conquered it. Of course with everything we do, we are learning daily to do new and different things. Still I know my way around a Mac pretty good for my age. By the end of the day I have faith we’ll get it worked out, but it’s been since September 8 and we haven’t worked it out yet, so who knows. I am trying.
Podcasts are a thing of the future. I know that and I’m so eager to get mine going on a regular basis. I continue to record interviews, praying we can get going soon. Stay with me. I know I’ll conquer this.
One thing I do know how to do is to tell you about our books. Smoky Mountain Brides by Katt Anderson (me) and Pam Watts Harris is still on pre-order on Amazon. The print book and the ebook will be released October 17. I’m excited about this book because I haven’t written a book in several years. There are still several in my head. One may be about technology and what happens when it doesn’t work all the time. Back to Smoky Mountain Brides. I didn’t know if Pam and I could write a book together or not, but we did and it was fun. We had to do a lot of coordinating along the way. We learned about each other’s writing style. Mostly we enjoyed producing something that blended together. The pre-order price is $2.99 for the ebook. You can order your ebook at https://www.amazon.com/Smoky-Mountain-Brides-Katt-Anderson-ebook/dp/B075QQLKW6/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1507044661&sr=1-1&keywords=Smoky+Mountain+Brides. This is a Christmas brides book.
Kyla Porter and Becki Hunley had been friends since childhood. They had gone to church and school together and had graduated from the University of Tennessee. They parted ways when Becki moved to Nashville to enter the country music field while Kyla continued her education in veterinary school and eventually m to northern Mississippi to practice veterinary medicine.
Scarred by a tragic ending to a relationship, Kyla finds it hard to trust any man, even the handsome teacher she meets at Graceland, who seems too good to be true. Becki finds the perfect man for her, a handsome doctor she meets at church, and both she and Kyla become engaged within a few months of each other. They had always dreamed of being each other’s maid or matron of honor when they married, but their plans are in jeopardy when their wedding dates are in conflict. Will they be able to solve their dilemma, or will their dream die?
Until next week. I do know my blogs are okay, it’s only the podcasts we’re having trouble with.
