I’m pleased to introduce to you one of our newer authors, Micki Clark. Micki’s first published novel is Don’t Ask Me To Leave, and it’s based on the book of Ruth. Even the main character’s name resembles those in the story of Ruth, Naoim – Nadine, Ruth – Rachel, Orpha – Olivia, and Boaz – Beau. It is a beautiful love story. I think I cried more in reading this book than any we’ve published. Listen to the podcast and learn more about Micki and her writing. Micki Clark was born in Lexington, Kentucky. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, she has loved the written word since childhood (when she was often captured hiding in the closet reading instead of doing mundane things like cleaning her room).
While at UK, she met a handsome young man and together they have worked hard at establishing a Christian home. They have three beautiful children that they cherish. Micki writes in her free time; by day, she is an English teacher in western Kentucky.
