We had a rough Saturday. It started with rain, then the storms began. I love a good thunderstorm, but I’m not too happy with tornadoes. I’ve been through several in my lifetime and none were pleasant. There were no tornadoes in our direct area, but one was in Paducah, KY and another in Murray, KY. We live smack-dab in the middle between the two. We did see the lightening at our house from Paducah, and I could hear the wind overhead, but no damage to us. There were lives lost due to the storms during the night Saturday. My prayers are for the families who lost loved ones, and for those who lost their homes.
Tomorrow The Seer releases. This is our first fantasy/speculative genre. I do read all of our books, sometimes numerous times, and I will say I enjoyed this book. I’ve been a big fan of Harry Potter, and I enjoyed the angels and the demons in The Seer. The Seer has a lot of action in it. Erin Howard did a wonderful job with this book.
Also releasing tomorrow on ebook pre-order is Safe Refuge by Pamela S. Meyers. This is a historical romance that begins the day before The Chicago Fire. The family moves to Geneva Lake, as do a lot of other residents of Chicago. It’s a story of an Irish immigrant and a rich young woman and their love story. I enjoyed it very much. I learned a lot from Pamela S. Meyers about the area of Geneva Lake. I’ll have more about these books tomorrow.
What’s next? We have another historical romance releasing in April, then in June we have another fantasy/speculative. If you are a fan of contemporary romance and romantic suspense, they will be out in July. We have a very busy year ahead of us.
