Yesterday was not the best day in my life. Stress played a big part in me not enjoying my day. I’m praying today will be better. But, it probably won’t be that good. Facebooks has decided I can’t make a post. I’ve been having problems with Facebook for a couple of days. I may have been hacked, but anyway, I can’t post today. I can post on another post that someone has posted, but I can’t make a post myself. This is not good.
Yesterday we began an ebook pre-order for Safe Refuge by Pamela S. Meyers. Pam has published with several other publishing companies, but this is our first book to publish of hers. She is very easy to work with, and her book is well-written. You can purchase it at Amazon.com
In two days, wealthy Chicagoan, Anna Hartwell, will wed a man she loathes. She would refuse this arranged marriage to Lyman Millard, but the Bible clearly says she is to honor her parents, and Anna
would do most anything to please her father–even leaving her teaching job at a mission school and marrying a man she doesn’t love. The Great Chicago Fire erupts, and Anna and her family escape with only the clothes on their backs and the wedding postponed. Father moves the family to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, where Anna reconnects with Rory Quinn, a handsome immigrant who worked at the mission school. Realizing she is in love with Rory, Anna prepares to break the marriage arrangement with Lyman until she learns a dark family secret that changes her life forever.
This book releases on March 27, 2-18.
