I’ve needed patience for the last few days. Our light in the ceiling fan has stopped working. It was all right as long as I didn’t flip the switch, which I usually did by mistake. My kitchen is the darkest room in my house, and I need the light. I thought it was something loose in the switch, but it wasn’t. The fan part would work, but the light part wouldn’t. Very annoying. We spent yesterday working on it. This morning we bought a new fan. Now to get it up. Hopefully Monday.
Thanks for those who have commented on what book you like with Mantle Rock Publishing. We have so many good books out there. We’ll continue to take comments until Monday morning, April 30. Then we’ll give away some books!
It’s hard for me to decide what book to put on next. I’m going to jump to the last book published, Under Prairie Skies. After we published Under This Same Sky I hoped the next book would be about Charlotte. She was an interesting character that needed to change her ways. I was so happy when Cynthia Roemer made her the main character and we began to watch her change. Saturday, April 28, is the launch party for Under Prairie Skies. My husband and I are attending. If you live in or around Carlinville, IL, the launch will begin at 9:30 at the public library. I’m looking forward to seeing Cynthia again. This book can be purchased at Amazon at amazon.com/…BDKTNK4/ref=la_B06Y1CJ588_1_1. It can also be purchased at Barnes & Nobel.
~ Beyond shattered dreams lies a realm of possibilities ~
Illinois prairie ~1855
Unsettled by the news that her estranged cousin and uncle are returning home after a year away, Charlotte Stanton goes to ready their cabin and finds a handsome stranger has taken up residence. Convinced he’s a squatter, she throws him off the property before learning his full identity. Little does she know, their paths were destined to cross again.
Quiet and ruggedly handsome, Chad Avery’s uncanny ability to see through Charlotte’s feisty exterior and expose her inner weaknesses both infuriates and intrigues her. When a tragic accident incites her family to move east, Charlotte stays behind in hopes of becoming better acquainted with the elusive cattleman. Yet Chad’s unwillingness to divulge his hidden past, along with his vow not to love again, threatens to keep them apart forever.
