I really look forward to Friday’s. This is the day I turn off my computer and close the door to the office. I’ve even been known to turn wifi off and enjoy a weekend of peace. Honestly, my authors are so good to work with, and they rarely contact me unless it is something important. That is so good because we work with about thirty or more authors. I’m so glad they respect me and my time away from work.
What are you doing this weekend? I will be working on my book and my talks for our KenTen Writers Retreat. It’s two weeks away and I can’t believe the time has slipped up on me. But that’s life isn’t it. Time always rushes in before we’re ready for it. We would like to spend time with part of our family. As I get older family is more important to me.
I’m working today on Camp Hope by Sara L. Foust. I should have it ready to go to be formatted by nightfall. Then I’ll send it to Diane to format and get the cover ready to slap that baby together. I don’t know prices yet, but will soon. I enjoy the day I get books ready to be formatted. We have a pre-order date of 6/12/18. I’m hoping we can get it all done by then for both print and ebook. I can’t wait to see the cover, and I’ll share it with you as soon as it is available.
This is Memorial Day weekend. We will remember those who fought for our freedoms. The flag represents all of those, whether they lived to go home to their families or died on the battlefield. I appreciate our forefathers who instituted this day back in the 1860s to commemorate those fallen during the Civil War. Memorial day has continued all those years. Take time Monday during your picnic or barbecue to remember those who died that we might have the freedom to do what you are doing.
Have a blessed Memorial Day.
