This last week has been interesting if not challenging. My husband, Jerry, had a knee replacement last Monday morning. I’m so thankful that he is at home and doing well. It is a little stressful for the caregiver, but he is not demanding. I think knowing he is not well makes me a little on edge. He is walking with a walker, and that is good.
Tomorrow evening I will be participating in a Facebook Launch Party with Sara Foust. I’d like to invite anyone who can to join us. It begins at 5 p.m. CDT, and I’m not sure how long it lasts. There are four guests. I will be on at 5:30 CDT for thirty minutes. I am giving a way a copy of Smoky Mountain Brides.
Sara is launching her newest book which releases tomorrow, Camp Hope. I’ve read it, as I do all of our books, and it is very good. It took me until the end to figure out why the little girl was kidnapped. Sara threw me several curves, but that is what I like. Sara is on my podcast today. Go to the home page here and you can listen to Sara and me. My microphone is acting up, and my voice was not good, but Sara is loud and clear.
With all that is going on here, I may not blogging every day for a while. I will try to be on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I’ll have to play it by ear.
I’d love for you to join us tomorrow at 5:00 CDT for the Launch Party with Sara Foust. It will be so much fun. There are a lot of nice gifts, and a $100 Amazon gift card is the grand prize. Several authors I know will be guests, Becky Sawyer and Patricia Bradley. It should be a fun time. You can join us at Facebook.com/Sara L. Foust. See you there!
