Recently I interviewed Del Duduit about his book Buckeye Believer: 40 Days of Devotionals for the Ohio State Faithfuls that was released a couple of months ago. He is a very interesting man and I hope you enjoy the podcast.
Del Duduit is an award-winning writer and a lifelong resident of Southern Ohio. As a sports writer and former sports newspaper editor, he has won awards from the Associated Press, the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association, and the Ohio News Network.
As a Christian writer, he is the author of Buckeye Believer: 40 Days of Devotions for the Ohio State Faithful (BY Books, 2018), and he earned the Outstanding Author award at the 2017 Ohio Christian Writers Conference, as well as two more first-place awards. He was also published in Faith and Freedom (EA Books, 2018) and is a contributor to The Serious Writer’s Guide to Writing, pending publication by Serious Writer Inc.
His articles have been published in Clubhouse Magazine, Sports Spectrum, Bridges, and PM Magazine. He is a co-editor and writer for Southern Ohio Christian Voice, and his articles have been published on One Christian Voice, ToddStarnes.com, The Sports Column, Almost An Author, and The Write Conversation. His weekly blog, My New Chapter, appears on delduduit.com, and he is a contributing writer for Athletes in Action and The Christian View. He is represented by Cyle Young of Hartline Literary Agency.
Del and his wife Angie are the parents of two adult sons, Gabe and Eli. They attend Rubyville Community Church.
