It’s hard to believe that tomorrow will be December 1. Christmas is upon us. In a few days the shopping will be finished, and we’ll be making a mess with the wrapping paper. I love this time of year. The music is so positive and hopeful. I wish it would be like that all year long.
We had a great Thanksgiving with our step-granddaughter and her family. We don’t see them much. I wish we lived closer and we could see them more, but this is the way of life. Kids or grandparents move away.
Now we are getting ready for Christmas. December will be a little busier for us this year. My husband will have a knee replacement December 5. The date is getting closer, and he’s looking forward to putting the pain behind him. Our tree will go up this weekend while he can still climb to get the tree and decorations down. I’ll feel more like the holidays when we do that. The trick will be to get it back up after Christmas.
We are in a short hiatus right now at MRP. We are working, but we don’t have any books coming out until February 4, 2019. Carolina Grace by Regina Rudd Merrick will be the first one for the year. This is the third in the Southern Breeze series. I’m editing it for the last time now. My plans are to finish it this weekend, then it goes to be printed. It is a good book.
This is the first time since we began Mantle Rock Publishing that all of our slots for releases are full for the next year. I am so thankful that so many people trust us with their books. It’s a peaceful feeling to know you’re helping others with their publishing. I will be doing a podcasts on marketing next year. It will be a weekly series. If you have any questions, please let me know in the comment section of this blog. I’ll be glad to try to answer your marketing questions. Marketing is so important to all authors. It can be fun to market your book.
Have a blessed day.
